Terms & Conditions: 

We are very open about our terms and conditions. Most are obvious and standard and trust that you will find them all fair and reasonable.

1)          All non-domestic prices are quoted without VAT unless indicated to be inclusive.

2)         The issue of an estimate or quotation is not a guarantee of availability to undertake the estimated work at any particular time. Start and finish dates and times will be arranged at the time of order.

3)         All estimates are given in good faith, however, they are subject and or limited to the following:

·           The items and quantities specifically listed within the estimate. Additional quantities or unlisted work necessary or requested by the client or the client’s representative is not included in the estimated cost and is subject to additional charge.

·           Availability of unrestricted access to all areas during normal office hours including unrestricted access to floor, ceiling, wall and roof voids. 

·           Availability of materials from suppliers and suppliers’ prices.

·           Changes in government/local authority or other body’s legislation or regulation.

·           Prompt payment on completion of work.

·           Unforeseen circumstances, Natural disaster, force majoure, industrial action, act of God etc.

·          Errors and omissions.

4)         The client will be advised in the event of any additional work being required due to unforeseen circumstances. Should such work require revision of costs, agreement with the client will be obtained prior to continuation.

5)         In the case of addition, modification, or extension, to an existing installation, correction of any defects or non-compliance to regulations within those parts of the existing installation relating to the new work are required to be undertaken prior to commencement. Unless specifically itemised, the cost of such corrective work has not been included in the estimate.

6)         Every reasonable effort will be made to protect and to minimise the disturbance to the building fabric and decoration, however, it is possible that some damage will be necessary in order to fit cables and accessories.

7)         Every reasonable effort will be taken to minimise and localise the generation of dust and rubble. Lomax Electrical cannot accept liability for contamination of items or foodstuffs that have not been adequately stored or protected.

8)         Full payment will be due upon completion of work unless otherwise stated.

9)        Lomax Electrical reserves the right to charge interest (10% above base rate per month calculated daily) and recovery costs for late or unpaid balances.

10)      The client accepts risk of all materials and goods upon delivery. 

11)       Lomax Electrical reserve title to all supplied goods until payment for all monies owing has been received.

12)       Estimates are valid for 30 days.
