Lomax Electrical guarantee all work and materials for up to ten years and will correct, repair or replace any item that is found to be defective due to a manufacturing or installation defect subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. The installation or building must not have been altered, extended or adapted in any way without our written authorisation.
2. The original certification or invoice must be produced.
3. Access to all parts of the installation including ceiling and floor voids must be as that at the time of installation. 
4. The installation must not have been used outside the scope of it's design and must have been serviced, tested and maintained in accordance with manufacturers, regulatory and standard recommendations. 
5. The guarantee is limited to only the part of the installation that has failed and not to any consequential losses directly or indirectly sustained as a result of the failure.
6. The guarantee period of any item is limited by that item manufacturer's guarantee and varies between 2 and 10 years.
7. Lomax electrical will endeavour to correct or replace at our discretion any item found faulty at our earliest opportunity and in any event within a reasonable period of time. Lomax Electrical can not reimburse claimants for corrective work undertaken by others.  

 The following items are not covered by any warranty.

1. Lamps (Light 'bulbs')
2. Electronic  Dimmers and control gear.
3. Fuses
4. Documentation
5. Testing and inspection reports
6. Damage caused by influences not present at the time of installation (e.g., heating pipe-work, vermin, change of use of rooms, work by other trades etc.) or by any other influences beyond our control. 
7. Faults caused by equipment connected to the installation.
8. Normal 'wear and tear'.
9. Changes in electrical wiring regulations.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
